The InsitorianMarch 17, 2026 — Gibson/Umbra Elections
On the other side of the universe (we can still say that until the Ashland ↔ Etherwind gateway gets built), elections are underway on the big/starter Benten planets. Gibson and Umbra are contested this time and a lot of ink has been spilled in in-game planet chat.
Faction lines are a little blurrier this time around. OptimizedFunction kicked things off by throwing his hat in the ring. MartianEngineer has been govenor for a few months on both planets and endorses eminence32, SilentReaper, OptimizedFunction, CoffeeCupMassacre, and erunamo.
On the other side, Snaevarr endorses Wildgardener, forevertrash, and Erendrake. One interesting thing is that Snaevarr's "faction" holds a majority in the current parliament on both planets.
